Audit Teams
HDANZ has an extensive network of experienced Auditors, Lead Auditors, and consumer representatives who are specifically trained in the HDANZ audit methodology and company philosophy. All HDANZ Auditors have been directly involved in the health and disability sector and must have comprehensive knowledge of the sector. HDANZ Auditors are selected because they can demonstrate an ability to foster effective working relationships in the sector and are committed to supporting improvements in the quality and performance of service providers.
Each audit team is of the size and skill to meet your needs and the needs of the audit activity. HDANZ strongly endorses a participative style for its audit teams. This is reflected in how they work together and work with you to establish positive relationships. This approach supports better understanding of auditing principles, processes and decisions for all concerned.
A lead auditor is designated for every audit. For the vast majority of services and standards, a two-person team would be the minimum and this would consist of a qualified Lead Auditor and Supporting Auditor or Consumer Auditor. Additional cultural, clinical or technical expertise can be included on the team depending on the size and type of service. We also have technical experts and advisors with extensive experience in their area of responsibility that provide input to us in the specified service. This includes several linkages for cultural advice and support.
